Ownership History 1974-2004

Not sure of the date, but mid 1970s. I entered into the reformed Club Lotus' sprint meeting at North Weald. I had just fitted my own design sliding spline driveshafts (doing away with the doughnuts) so thi swas a good test for them. These shafts allowed me to really go for it, an advantage over the Rotoflex equipped cars. Apparently I was lifting a front wheel at times.

The Lotus 11 expected to win but, try as he might, he couldn't match my time :-) In fact he tried too hard and was beaten into forth place by a Europa and a Sprint.
