Differential
When it came to choosing a diff, there was no real competition. The 7.5" RS Cosworth unit was the obvious choice. I bought a Quaife ATB LSD to fit but, as luck would have it, one of the Sierra Cosworths I stripped was fitted with one so I have used that, keeping my new unit as a spare for now. The ratio is 3.85:1, somewhat unusual but we will see how it performs.


Graham Hatherway modifed the chassis around this diff, so it is very securely held in place. The rear support bracket I lightened slightly :-


Since this photo was taken, the anti-roll bar has been removed and the dampers repostioned to an inboard location.
