Centre Drilling Titanium Bolts
Titanium bolts are approx 43% lighter than high tensile 8.8 grade bolts and around 15% stronger. This allows for the bolts to be lightened by drilling out the centre :-)
We can supply metric and imperial titanium bolts, drilled or undrilled, in various lengths, thread pitches and diameters as well as titanium nuts and washers.
Centre drilling drivetrain bolts isn't recommended as these tend to be 10.9 or 12.9 and you need all the strength available
Centre Drilling Other Bolts
If titanium is a little rich for your pocket (and I don't blame you), we can centre drill conventional steel and aluminium bolts, as well as reducing their heads.
This is not recommended where the full structural strength of the bolt is required, for example on suspension, steering and drivetrain components.
